The Foliant Art Gallery (FAG) respects your right to personal privacy and approaches all communications through our website with respect for, and commitment to, protecting your privacy rights.

What personal information does the FAG collect?

The FAG may collect personal information regarding you when you voluntarily provide it to us using our Site, or any other means that We may make available to you from time to time. For example, We may ask you to provide personal information, such as your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address if you:

  • become a collector of FAG;
  • register for a studio class, workshop, plain air, or other program;
  • purchase tickets or invitations for FAG event;
  • register to receive e-newsletters and information;
  • register for a contest or other promotion that We may offer;
  • purchase an item from FAG online store;
  • ask to receive online information from us; and/or
  • otherwise participate in features of our Site that ask for personal information.

Why does the FAG collect personal information from you?

We collect personal information from you only for the purposes we identify to you at, or prior to, the time we collect such personal information. We do not require any personal information in order for you to view or navigate the Site.
Where the collection of personal information is necessary for us to provide the services you have requested you will know because the purposes for which your personal information is collected will be identified to you. For example, your name, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address and postal code and, if necessary, financial information such as, your credit card number(s) and expiry date(s), may be collected when you purchase an item, sign up for our newsletter, register for the Site, or contact us with a question.   2. To provide you with our email newsletters. We note that the email newsletter registration form is strictly optional.

To whom will the FAG provide your personal information?

Subject to the following exceptions, your personal information is used solely by the FAG.

(a) to third party service providers with whom the AGH has a contractual agreement, which includes appropriate privacy standards and who do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information other than for the following purposes: (i) for the delivery of e-newsletters and related materials, (ii) to process credit card information for billing purposes, (iii) to perform functions such as data processing, database services or information technology support; and/or (iv) for marketing the FAG products or services;

(c) to third parties to enforce our Site’s Terms and Conditions of Use, to protect the safety and security of visitors and our Sites, or to protect our rights, safety or property; and/or

(d) as needed if such information is requested by law enforcement agencies or if we are requested to do so by law, regulation, court order, or by a government entity.

We disclose to third parties only as much personal information as is required to perform the task they have been retained for. We will share personal information only with those who have agreed to follow policies that share our high standards of privacy protection, in compliance with the applicable law.

What type of security does the FAG provide?

We regard the security of personal information to be of paramount importance. As such, We have taken technical, contractual, organizational and physical security steps to protect the personal information collected from you on the Site with a level of security appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information collected. Only our authorized employees who require access to your personal information in order to fulfill their job requirements will have access to your personal information.

The FAG reserves the right to modify or supplement this Policy at any time.
